CARE FOR RESOURCES
Fewer single‑use packages : for personal care products we use refillable dispensers, filled as needed.

Bulk cleaning products : we purchase detergents in bulk, reducing the number of packages used.
Water in glass bottles : at breakfast and in the rooms we provide drinking water produced by our reverse‑osmosis system and served in glass bottles.
Organic ingredients and local products : for breakfast we choose organic ingredients and items from local producers whenever available.
Less food waste : we plan purchases based on actual needs and try to use food completely. Items still suitable for consumption and close to expiry are eaten by our family or, when possible, shared with our neighbours.

And a simple “no” becomes a big “yes” for the planet!
Every time our guests choose to skip daily room cleaning, we donate €2 to a project supporting the environment and the local community. Just a few kilometres from our home, a small association called I Meandri works to protect and promote the ecosystems of the Ronco River between Meldola and Forlì, planting trees, maintaining paths, and organising walks, bike rides, and public events.
Clean energy
When the photovoltaic production is not sufficient to cover our consumption, we purchase the necessary energy from the grid through a supplier that declares 100% renewable sourcing.
During the months with greater sunlight availability, we also use our solar thermal system to help heat the water.
The energy we use is also available for electric mobility: in the B&B parking area we have installed a wallbox for charging electric vehicles.
